Where is Spring

Carson is ready for Spring and Summer. She is sick of the cold weather just like her mother. We want to go swimming and play outside. Yogi is also sick of being cooped up inside the house. He wants to run free outside.

Carson received the cutest swim suites from Australia from her aunt and uncle. We are ready to put them on and get some sun. We had a little night of dress-up. Here are the results.

PS Carson also got to drink her first Apple Juice last night. Also she got to use her first sippy cup.

6mos

Well Carson's is 6mos as of Jan 21st. We went to the doctor on Friday and of course said she was doing wonderfully. She is growing and meeting all her activity goals. He said we can start her on stage II baby food and she can have table food.

Her weight was 16.2 53%
Her height was 27in 80%
Lets just say her head is still in the 97%

After we took her to the doctor Friday her and daddy came to visit everyone at mommies work. We had Carson looking very patriotic she wear a pink "Obama Baby" onsie that my step mom bought for her. She also had on her pink boots that Grandma Becker brought her back from Australia. We look so cute.

Special Days

Our daughter is so smart she knows excellence when she sees it. Also I am also posting pictures of her crazy hair now.

President Obama!!!

We have a new President!!!!

Today I went to work knowing that history was going to be made. Our work nicely let us get on and watch the swearing in of the new President. It gave me goose bumps watching it happen. I didn't cry which I was proud of myself. I told Jeff to make sure Carson watched it, and to take a picture of her so when she grows up she knows she was alive during a historical day in our country.

Getting Big

Carson is getting so big it is amazing how fast it goes by. She eats baby food twice a day now, and has learned to sit up by herself. She is getting good at it. She catches herself when she starts falling over.

Jeff is doing so good in school. He is finishing his minimester tomorrow, and starts UIS in a week.

Yogi is also doing great. He turns 4 next Wednesday.

Christmas

I know it is a little late, but I wanted to share some pictures of Carson on her 1st Christmas and New Years.

Christmas was very busy but doable. We got to see everyone and enjoy time with them. We did miss cousin Ava, Uncle Jason, and Aunt Chaille being there to celebrate Carson's first Christmas. We did get to talk to them over skype and that was nice. I think Santa was very good to Ava she got a lot of nice things.

It was also cousin Boh's first Christmas to. So him and Carson got to experience there first Christmas together. Even though we didn't actually see them on that day we still knew he was as excited as Carson.

New Years of course is a lot different now having a 5 mos old, but it was still fun. We went over to Carson's best friends house Leah and Noah's house. They played together while the parents sat around and talked. We enjoyed spending time with the Murphy's.
