SHOUT OUT!!!!

I just want to take a second to give a little shout out to my wonderful husband Jeff. Sometimes I wonder how he deals with school, work, and me. Jeff is one of those guys that can do anything. He can basically fix, build, and put together anything you ask him to. He sweeps, dusts, does the dishes if needed, and doesn't like anyone but him ironing his clothes. Plus he knows how to dress unlike some guys. Okay I know I'm going on and on so I'll get to the point. I think the best thing about Jeff is how smart he is. He worries every time he has a test, but I always know he is going to do great. He got back his accounting test yesterday and scored a 98 (with no curve). I am so proud of him and all the hard work and effort he puts into his school work. I'm not saying Jeff is a saint, but I sure am one lucky girl.

21 weeks

Well off to the doctors we went yesterday for a routine check up. It was time for the measuring scan to see how big the baby is getting. I also wanted to make sure it was still a girl and in the past 5 weeks grew something down there. About a second after she started the sono she said "Yep it's still a girl" plain as day. So we were happy to hear that, Jeff has the nursery all painted pretty, in green and purple, and the crib is up and ready for Carson to sleep in. It's nice to have such a handy husband. The nursery was Jeff projected and let me tell you he knows what he is doing, I didn't have to do anything...just the way I like it. We'll get some pictures taken of the room and post them as soon as we can.

As for the rest of the doctor's appt. it went very well, I gained back 6 of the 9 pounds I lost. So I'm still 3 pounds under my original weight which is fine with me. The baby is already 1 pound which is great for the week I'm at, the doctor said I was measuring perfect. It was fun to see the baby again on the sono, I kept telling Jeff she looks like him. Which doesn't mean much, because everyone tells us we look like brother and sister. We even got to see her opening her mouth and close it, it was like she was talking to us.

Everyone else is doing great, Boh recovered from his surgery like a champ. His looks change daily, but continues to look like Tori. Mandy has been very sick the last couple of days and cannot leave the bedroom so I'm hoping she gets better by the weekend for Easter. Yogi is still the best dog in the whole world, I always talk to him about how he is going to be a great big brother and sometimes he just lays by me and puts his head on my belly. I think him and Carson already talk to each other. Well that is all I have for now.

Baby Boh

Baby Boh had to go into surgery today for his hernia. It was scheduled for 8:00am and everything went great. Boh has to stay in the hospital over night, but will be home tomorrow. Tori and Shaun also did great!! I cannot imagian how nerve racking it is for parents to have their 2 week old in surgery. I was very proud of both Tori and Shaun they are strong parents and held it together. Tori did say she cried when they took him but was okay in the waiting room. Boh was the best baby too. We are just happy it is over and done with.

On a lighter note I can feel Carson kick on a regular bassis now. Through out the day she just kicks or punches I don't know which, but it is nice that I can finally feel her move in there. I go back to the doctor next week and they will measure her to see how she is progressing. That will probably be my last sono until a week before my due date.
