up date on carson

Carson isn't really crawling, but she does this army crawl thing. She can get up on all fours rock back and forth, move backwards, and lunge forward. The whole moving forward on her hands and knees isn't really happening yet. She is a master in rolling and basically can get anything she wants by lunging forward and then rolling to whatever she wants. She knows how to say "dada" but no mama yet. I call her a trader. She has learned to hold her own bottle while feeding. I can put puffs on her tray and she can pick them up and feed herself. Last night was the first night I let her sleep with a blanket in bed. I am trying to teach her how to hold herself up on furniture, but that isn't going so well. Other than that she smiles a lot, babbles constantly, and is a great baby. Here is Carson's newborn pictures so you can see how much she has grown.

St. Patricks Day Surprise

Ok yesterday was St. Patricks Day and one of the best days our family has had since Carson has been around. I surprised Jeff and took the day off to spend with the family. We went to the St. Patty's Day parade, ate outside, played in the yard with Reese, Boh, and Tori, ate some ice cream (well Jeff and I did), and just had a great ole time. I wish everyday could be like that. Carson was great really enjoyed the weather and had fun playing in the yard. Here is pictures from our memorable day.

Sunday Fun

We had a great Sunday at Carson's first Riverman game. We was so good and I think really enjoyed it. We went with people from my work which included Mandy, Bellla, Tori, Shaun, and Reese. Reese really got into the game and at the end sat down by the glass and started pounding on it like everyone else. She must have had a good impression on one of the players, because she got the game puck. It was a great time, and I got to see all my work friends babies who I don't get to see much. Afterwards Carson was so tired and ended up going to sleep at 7:30am. She wore the cutest outfit ever that my Aunt Tracy had bought her. Let me tell you she looked adorable. Here are the pictures.

Swimming

I don't have any pictures, but we took Carson swimming for the first time. I have signed Carson and I up for swimming lesson starting April 7th (my b-day) at the River Plex. I cannot wait to see how well she does with the swimming thing. Jeff and I thought she would probably be great in the pool because she loves her bath, but you never now how kids will react. So Jeff and I thought it would be best to take her swimming before the swimming lesson start. In Chillicothe they have a facility called Piers that has an indoor pool at. Rachel and Adam have a membership there and take there kids swimming during the winter. We thought we would tag along so Carson could experience a pool before lessons start. She loved it. At first she seemed a little scared, but then she realized what was happening and started splashing around. She even got her face in the water and it didn't seem to bother her. I was so happy that things went well and I think swimming lesson will go well.

birthdays, birthdays, birthdays

We have four birthdays in the last 7 days. We had Boh's 1st b-day on Feb 25th, Tori's 24th on Feb 26th, Mandy's big 30 on March 1st, and Jeff's 29th on March 3rd. We had the best 30th party for Mandy. All friends and family were there to celebrate and we had a blast. Then on Sunday we had Boh's 1st birthday party. It was fun and we all enjoyed seeing everyone. Here are some pictures of the big 1st birthday party.
