She's Here

Well after 31 hours of labor our little Carson is finally here. She arrived on July 21st at 7:08 am. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Jeff was wonderful through the whole very long process. I could never had made it through without him. I also had wonderful nurses that were there through it all. We have been home for a week and things are going well. She sleeps about 3 hours straight a night and lets hope it stays that way if not get better. It is unbelievable how bright eyed she is during the day. She just looks around and takes her new world in. Yogi is doing great with her. We do have to monitor his licking, but let him get his kisses in through out the day. When i feed her he is always laying above my head making sure we are okay. Jeff took a week off, but did have to go back to work today. It was hard to see him go after being with him for 8 days straight I knew I would miss him. I did okay though. My mom took this week off to be here if needed so. So she came over today to keep me company and help with the baby. Most people know that I'm not that mobile yet. I had a very ruff labor and delivery so getting around has been a challenge for me, luckily Carson has been a great baby. She is very laid back.

On a sad note my brother -in-law, sister-in-law, and niece left for Australia Sunday. They were here for a whole week after Carson's arrival. It was very emotional to see them leave. I miss them already. They made it safely.

Here are some pictures of Carson.

Quick Note

I went to the doctor Tuesday and found out that I will be going in Sunday to have the baby. I don't know when she'll actually arrive that day, but it should be Sunday. I really had not progressed much, but she is a big girl. So things are looking good. Wish us luck and please pray for us.

Thanks
Stevie, Jeff, Yogi, and Soon Carson

Nearing the end

We had another doctor's appt today. Things look good. Carson is growing and is very healthy, and I'm doing good. We will go back to the doctor next week and see how things are.

Jeff's finals are coming up, and I'm sure he will do great on them. Other than that nothing much.

3 weeks left

Okay it wasn't until this week that I was ready to have this baby. Before I was kind of like whatever, but as time has progressed this week anytime would be fine. We went to the doctor yesterday I did gain about 3 pounds so that was good (I guess). I am dilated to a 1 and about 50% thinned. So at least nothing is going on. I'm just glad something is happening. I have been having some pain, but nothing unusual for being 8mos along. My ankles and feet are swelling and the doctor says to keep them up after I get off work. I will do my best is all I could say. We did cancel our 3rd of July party (so I hope no one is mad) we thought it would be to much (jeff, doctor, and I). I hate my ankles this way, it seems like the only part of my body that got big was my belle then my ankles started in. Lets hope that goes down after she arrives along with my belle. The one good thing is that I have such an awesome husband that helps out. I try to do as much as I can, but vacuuming is now his task. It hurts my back way to much. Jeff always gives me back messages whenever I ask, and gets me what I need when asked. So lets just say I wouldn't have gotten through this pregnancy without him being there for me so much. Jeff has also finished the nursery completely and it looks awesome. He did such a great job on it. It is already for her to come home.

I haven't said much about Jeff and his schooling so I'll give you an update. After all Jeff has been doing at home preparing for Carson he has had two classes this summer. He had a 4 week theatre class that just ended, which he received an "A" in. Then he has his stats class which he received a "B" on his first test. His next test is Monday, and then the last one is right when I'm due. So lets hope I go a little early.

Yogi is also doing great and ready for his sister to come home.
