Nursery

First I wanted everyone to know that we changed a few things on our wish list at walmart.com. I deleted a few things and added a couple others. We reevaluated what was needed this weekend. Here are the pictures of our finished nursery that Jeff worked on all night last night. The first is Yogi testing the bed out making sure it is comfortable for his little sister.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Yesterday was my niece Bella's birthday she turned 9. Mandy, Bella, and I went to Seven for dinner and had a great time. I cannot believe my little Bella is already 9 years old. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. They grow up so fast.

26 weeks

First I want to start off by saying how successful the Parkinson's race was for my grandfather. The weather held off and we raised a lot of money for Parkinson's research. It was a good time had by all. The friends and family that came out to support grandpa was just heartfelt and the whole Bohlander family really appreciated it. Parkinson's is a genetic disease that has no cure, so research is very important so we can get closer to the answer. I found out through my sister and my aunt that after you have a baby you can donate your cord blood for Parkinson's research, and I will be following Tori's lead and donating mine. It is very important to my family to find a cure for this disease.

Next, I had a doctor's appt yesterday and everything is looking great. My hemoglobin was a little low, so I will have to start eating a little more iron. Beets is one of my favorite foods and they have a lot of iron in them. I know a lot of people don't like them, but that's because they didn't have Nanny Boh for a grandma. Plus I believe that my dad used to can them back in the day. From my original weight I have only gained a 1/2 pound, which is fine with me. The baby is growing like a weed, and I think she is going to come out a giant. It wouldn't surprise me considering the height of her father.

Other than that nothing much. Jeff is still doing great in school and he may not even need to take finals.

babies, babies, and more babies

LEAH DIANE MURPHY has arrived into the world today. My best friend ever had her little girl today around 3:15pm. She is 7 pounds 1 ounce and has a lot of hair. I just thought I would share.

Another Day

Well nothing much has been going on in the Becker household. Mostly just school and work for Jeff, and work for me. I am feeling good, and Carson is still kicking everyday. The funniest thing that we have crossed when it comes to my pregnancy is Reece's reaction when Tori tries to feel her kick. Every time Tori touches my stomach Reece first starts with yelling "Mom!" and then goes to full blown hysterics. I know we shouldn't make her cry, but sometimes it is just to funny. We sound like a mean mom and aunt I know, but if you saw the reaction you would laugh too.

I do have some news updates. My best friend in the whole world is getting induced tomorrow to have her little girl Leah. So we are very excited about that. Also we would like everyone to pray that it doesn't rain on Saturday. The Peoria Speedway and the hard working Bohlander family (including the extended family members helping, Parker's etc) are having a benefit for my grandpa. It is called the "Don Bohlander 100" to benefit Parkinson's Disease, and we really need nice weather for it.

I think that is all for now. Yogi is also doing great. I knew everyone would like to know that.
