Vacation......No Vacation
Well most of you already know that our vacation didn't go as planned. We did make it to Indianapolis, barely. Once we got there our hotel lost out reservation, but luckily had a room for us to stay in. We got four hours of sleep before we had to get up to catch our flight. Jeff and I were both not in the best of moods, and were just ready to get on the plane and head towards some warm weather. Upon arrival at the airport we found out that our flight had been cancelled, they put us on the next available flight which wasn't until the next day. After searching other airline prices that all ended up be way out of our price range, we decided it wasn't meant to be and headed home. My favorite saying is, "everything happens for a reason", Jeff reminded me of that so we were both okay with not being able to go on vacation.

Doc appt for Yogi
Yogi had his yearly check up on Saturday, and he is in wonderful shape. He hasn't gained a pound since last year (which is great for small dogs) he has stayed 10 pounds 4 ounces. The vet said that he was in great health and all around a great dog, he did have to get two shots and his blood taken. I for warned them that I may cry, because I hate to see my little puppers in pain, I was good though and stayed calm. He didn't even flinch for his first shot, but his second really stung and he yelp really loud. I felt so sorry for him, when they drew his blood I got to stand by him and rub his ears. It didn't seem to bother him as much to get his blood taken than it did for the shots. Yogi was diffently ready to hit the road when he was done, the vet asked if she could give him a treat and I had to say no, because we don't give him any. She said that is why he is in the great health that he is in. I told Dr Baker that I was pregnant and trying to do everything I could to get Yogi ready for the new arrival, she said we were doing everything right. I told her that we were going to let Yogi be around the baby as much as possible so that he feels included in everything. She said that was fine he was up to date on all his vactinations and it wouldn't harm the baby at all. The last thing I want is for Yogi to get depressed and not act like the happy dog he is, I think Yogi will be a great big brother and when the baby gets older all he'll want is to be with her and not us.
I did end up giving Yogi a peanut butter kong when we got home and bought him a new toy later that evening for being so good. He was a little sore yesterday but was back to his self today.

We Have A Winner
Well most of you already know yesterday we found out what we are having.
IT'S A GIRL!!!
We had a doctors appointment Tuesday and the wonderful nurse attempted to see what it was, but no success. So we went back on Wednesday to see the Sonographer. It took a little time, but finally we saw that it was a little girl. Jeff and I are both very thrilled and happy, all we really want is a health baby girl or boy didn't matter. We did see the doctor on Tuesday and he said everything looks great. The baby is getting bigger (even though i'm not gaining any weight, since I lost 9 pounds last visit) and the little arms and legs were just moving around like crazy. The heart beat was nice and strong, 142 I believe.
Jeff is doing great in school and getting awsome grades. He moved everything out of the spare room to get started on the nursery. I don't think I'll have to do anything for the nursery Jeff has it all planned out. Which is totally fine with me, because I hate doing that stuff. If it was me the walls would be white and just a crib would be in the room, but that just me.
Yogi is wonderful as always, he is attached to my hip all hours of day when I'm home. I'm pretty sure he knows what is going on. I told him last night that he is going to be a great big brother. He was really excited that he is having a little sister, I showed him the pictures of the baby and he looked very happy.
Jeff and I leave for a three day cruise next Friday, I cannot wait to get out of this weather. The doctor said I can even snorkle so that made me happy. I'm just ready for the warm weather and all the food you can eat.

Wish List
I know most people think it is strange that I don't believe in showers, but that is just what I believe. So people have been asking if they want to get us something what should they do. We have started a wish list on WalMart.com. You just click on wish list and type in Jeffery Becker, and it will bring up all the items we have put on our wish list. Most of our items you can't get in the store, but they have free shipping to our local WalMart.
I hope this helps.
Also a big thanks to all the people that have already bought us something.
